Amy, thank you so much for all these great videos…they are worth Millions!
You make it so easy to set these up. And your download worksheets are fabulous!
Thanks so much for doing this for us.

Great video Amy! I have yet to start creating sites on auto pilot with CPMage. So far I have been doing them all manually. I will give CPMage a try soon.
Is it possible to edit the Posting Mage templates from the CPMage interface?
November 21st, 2009 at 1:19 pm
Yes, it’s absolutely possible. But you have to edit the template, then create posts. I will make a video for this soon. But Greg explains it in his advanced user video.

Great job Amy!!!
Very helpful, you cleared up some the things Greg doesn’t mention and that helps to answer questions I had.

Fantastic – thank you Amy for the organised and easy way you explained how to do this.

Amy,
After we get hosting with our throw away domain
can we add the other domains at another time when we
are installing the CP Mage software?
I realize you do them all at once, but I was wondering if we can add them later.
November 25th, 2009 at 11:05 pm
Yes. You don’t have to fill all those 30 blanks right away. I think that answers your question.
November 26th, 2009 at 12:52 am
these arae great videos and info.
But the downloadable instructions above the video – I cannot download them and I have Windows Vista with Word presumable. – Can you help? what do I need to do to download the worksheets?
November 26th, 2009 at 1:17 am
I sent it to you as an attachment. I’m afraid to change it to a .txt, because the formatting would be awful. If anyone wants to put into a nice .txt, please send it to me, and I’ll upload it here.

Amy,
Awesome info, thank you very much. The worksheet will work out very nicely. It’s great to be able to keep everything in one place.
November 28th, 2009 at 3:30 am
Hi Amy, You are showing us…hostgator…correct????
November 28th, 2009 at 3:35 am
Yes, I think was with hostgator. But every cpanel is the same, I’m pretty sure. So long as it’s using the x3 theme. If your cpanel looks very different, call your host and tell them you need the x3 cpanel.

AMY,
Something about a woman explaining it makes it much easier for this old baby boomer to understand.
I luv the logical progression that you did and the cheatsheet will really come in handy.
Thank you so much,
Sandy Morris

Amy…. thank you so much for this video. All the “mystery” has vanished…

I used this video as a guide for my first CPMage install, pausing it to do each step. I did encounter a few technical problems along the way – all of them related to hosting (Hostgator support is excellent by the way) but that kind of stuff is to be expected for a first-timer. The video and accompanying worksheet are excellent! Great job Amy!
A word to the wise: keep track of all those passwords!
December 4th, 2009 at 12:06 am
Amy, thank you tons!
I do not have the wpmage with the build your site or edit your site, but it said install complete. What am I missing?
Thanks
December 4th, 2009 at 12:40 am
Perhaps I’m just overtired, but I do not understand what you are asking. If you think something has gone wrong, send an e-mail to support@wpmage.com. I just don’t have time to fix things. Rather, I prefer to help people get it right the first time as easily as possible.

Hi Amy
Thanks for this site. It is absolutely brilliant!
Have you had any issues with host providers suspending your sites?
And do you privacy protect your sites? With Godaddy I see its $8.99 per site.
Thanks again
Wayne

I did have an issue with Super Green weeks ago. Now I only have 3 sites with them. I’m recommending Hostgator “baby” accounts now. I get privacy registration for free when I buy 6 or more new domains at a time. I don’t worry about it yet for my expired domains.
December 8th, 2009 at 2:17 am
Hi Amy,
Really love your videos and info, they really help us newbies.
I am a bit confused. I have a 1 blog hosted at hostgator baby account. I have had it about 10 months and it just has a few posts about making money/Internet Marketing stuff on, but havent done anything with it since May or so. Now can I use this one to add CPMage to? If so do I have to delete the few posts that are already on it?
Thanks,
Carol
December 8th, 2009 at 4:39 am
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I’m not sure if that would work. To be safe and avoid hassles, I recommend a fresh hosting account with a new cpanel. For $5, it may save you lots of frustation.
December 8th, 2009 at 4:00 pm
Thanks Amy, I will see if I can transfer this hosting account to a new one and start again. Or maybe ask them if I can put another domain as the starter and the one I already have there underneath it then. Do you know if Hostgator knows about CPMage? Thanks.
December 12th, 2009 at 3:09 am
Wow Amy. Thanks to you, I just finished installing my first cpmage and my first mage site. I was paralyzed with information overload. This video and worksheet helped a lot. It took me a little under an hour but I did it. This method really is idiot proof, just like you said. lol
December 12th, 2009 at 2:03 pm
Hi Amy
Just installed my 1st Mage on Hostgator(Greg did 1st one for me on Supergreen)following your video. Must say it was extremely easy.
As I am now way behind in my schedule for setting up sites (mainly due to Supergreen shenanigans) how many sites in your opinion can I safely set up on a Hostgator Baby account per day.
December 13th, 2009 at 10:16 pm
Hi Amy,
I signed up with Hostgator using your link and was able
to install cpmage myself with the help of your excellent
video. Thanks for your help.

Great Video Amy
I’m about to buy WPMage – is it only compatable with Macs or is it a windows only software?
December 17th, 2009 at 1:40 pm
Thanks to you I could make this work. Perfect explanations.

Very informative video
does the ‘throw away’ domain mean you don’t actually use this domain? Is that why it’s called throw away?
December 17th, 2009 at 10:20 pm
Yes, when you use CPMage, that throwaway domain doesn’t atually have a website on it.
December 21st, 2009 at 1:21 pm
Thanks – where can I find the template? – checked downloads and cannot see anything there and checked templates and that is the same
December 21st, 2009 at 2:18 pm
sorry just found it thanks – doh!

Amy this is great stuff!! I am indebted to you – being totally new to this game you explain things at a level I understand without assuming anything – I could follow this whole process without “losing you in the fog” I am so grateful,
Cheers and many thanks for your charitable attitude,

This is excellent stuff Amy, clear concise and with a nice friendly voice (with a touch of humour) Thanks a million! JC

I had mine installed by Greg but was really wanting to know how to do this myself (I have hostgator) Thank You Thank You! I’m a big fan of checklist so I feel very prepared to move forward. I can’t wait to puruse through the other topics here (more so than the forum) One thing I did pick up that might be appropriate here is “once every domain’s nameserves have been set (step #3), with CPMage you do not have to go into the original /cpanel and “add a domain” like some might be used to doing”
Again, thanks for the help!
Jamie
February 19th, 2010 at 1:21 am
Good point. Do NOT go back into your cpanels!
March 28th, 2010 at 1:49 am
great video, if anybody wants to keep all of their records in and easy to access file use fileamigo its free and you can create custom fields for all your site info.

why don’t you want do download cpmage-full.zip to /public_html?
April 4th, 2010 at 2:33 am
Hi Amy, I have a few questions……
1. I have a Hostgator WHM reseller account with several blogs and 1 website of which is a eCommerce store I never really finished, and probably won’t, but it is indexed and I use that Domain also as the Main cPanel (throwaway..?) name I’m suppose to have inorder to gain access to the rest of the backend.
2. Should I be getting a different Domain for C-Mage rather than use my Main Domain that is being used now?
3. Also…..what exactly is the benefit of an Add On Domain. If I wanted to sell several of the non-prforming Mage sites, I wouldn’t be able to do this if it were an Add-On……correct?
4. couldn’t I achieve the same result in utilizing CP Mage as the main control panel by using a reseller account?
Thanks
April 4th, 2010 at 9:50 am
In your WHM, create a new cpanel (account) with a new throwaway domain. This will be for your new cpmage install.
Right now, there is no license available for selling Mage sites. To do so would be a violation of the terms.
I don’t know much more about reseller accounts beyond what I already answered. Just create a new cpanel, install cpmage on it. Then put 30 sites on that cpmage install. then, do it all again.

thanks for your reply.
The Word doc looks very helpful. It states I need to log in inorder to retrieve it.
How would I go about doing so.
Cheers and kind regards.
June 26th, 2010 at 4:53 am
Thank you so much Amy for your non ftp installation videos!!!!!! I can’t stand going trough filezilla to do anything! It seems so confusing doing it that way. Your way is MUCH better!
I was wondering if you have figured out a way of using the “throwaway” domain with installing wpmage on it along with cpmage? I have seen other videos on how to do it and have read quite a bit about it on the forums but they all show how to do it using ftp on filezilla and every time I try to use ftp I get so frustrated and little intimidated by it.
So have you tried to install both cpmage and wpmage on the same domain name yet? If so is there a right order of doing it?
Looking forward to your reply!
June 26th, 2010 at 3:21 pm
I have not installed it on the throwaway domains.
