Thank you so much Amy for your non ftp installation videos!!!!!! I can't stand going trough filezilla to do anything! It seems so confusing doing it that way. Your way is MUCH better!

I was wondering if you have figured out a way of using the "throwaway" domain with installing wpmage on it along with cpmage? I have seen other videos on how to do it and have read quite a bit about it on the forums but they all show how to do it using ftp on filezilla and every time I try to use ftp I get so frustrated and little intimidated by it.

So have you tried to install both cpmage and wpmage on the same domain name yet? If so is there a right order of doing it?

Looking forward to your reply!

The Word doc looks very helpful. It states I need to log in inorder to retrieve it.

How would I go about doing so.

Cheers and kind regards.

In your WHM, create a new cpanel (account) with a new throwaway domain. This will be for your new cpmage install.

Right now, there is no license available for selling Mage sites. To do so would be a violation of the terms.

I don't know much more about reseller accounts beyond what I already answered. Just create a new cpanel, install cpmage on it. Then put 30 sites on that cpmage install. then, do it all again. :)

Hi Amy, I have a few questions......

1. I have a Hostgator WHM reseller account with several blogs and 1 website of which is a eCommerce store I never really finished, and probably won't, but it is indexed and I use that Domain also as the Main cPanel (throwaway..?) name I'm suppose to have inorder to gain access to the rest of the backend.

2. Should I be getting a different Domain for C-Mage rather than use my Main Domain that is being used now?

3. Also.....what exactly is the benefit of an Add On Domain. If I wanted to sell several of the non-prforming Mage sites, I wouldn't be able to do this if it were an Add-On......correct?

4. couldn't I achieve the same result in utilizing CP Mage as the main control panel by using a reseller account?

Thanks

I had mine installed by Greg but was really wanting to know how to do this myself (I have hostgator) Thank You Thank You! I'm a big fan of checklist so I feel very prepared to move forward. I can't wait to puruse through the other topics here (more so than the forum) One thing I did pick up that might be appropriate here is "once every domain's nameserves have been set (step #3), with CPMage you do not have to go into the original /cpanel and "add a domain" like some might be used to doing"

Again, thanks for the help!
